Paige Johnson was thrilled to join the Fisher Island Day School in 2020 as a new member of the community! Paige is committed to facilitating student success, both inside the classroom and in life. Her classroom learning environment promotes fun, growth, inclusion, and a sense of family as she believes that student success is created through nurturing meaningful relationships. Paige has dedicated herself to becoming a life-long educator and learner, and she strives to instill a similar desire in all of the students with whom she works.  Before coming to Miami, Paige worked for an all-girls school as an International Baccalaureate English Teacher and Learning Behavioral Specialist in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago.

Outside of school, Paige loves to read, kayak, partake in outdoor Pilates classes, hang out with her husband, and attend poetry slams—her favorite is Louder than a Bomb!

Paige earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Miami University (Ohio) in Middle Childhood Education in English, History, and Linguistics. While in Chicago, Paige received her Master’s Degree in Secondary Education in English and Special Education. Paige is certified to teach Grades 4–12 in Ohio, Illinois, and Florida.
