Primary School Assistant Teacher

Madeleine Prosperi began working at Fisher Island Day School in 2015 as a substitute teacher. In August, 2015, she joined the staff as a teacher assistant for the Early Learning classroom. She focuses on providing an environment where children can express themselves, develop their own skills, and reach learning goals. She uses her diverse learning experiences and skills to provide interesting and challenging opportunities for all children so they have fun while learning.

Madeleine was raised in Caracas, Venezuela, is fluent in Spanish and English, and conversant in French since she spent one year studying in Paris.  She loves ballroom dancing, singing, and photography and looks forward to going to the beach and enjoying the beautiful Miami sunsets.  Madeleine loves to spend time with her family and friends — traveling, cooking together, and dancing.

Madeleine earned an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Miami Dade College and received training at the School of Expression and Psychomotricity Carmen Aymerich in Barcelona, Spain.
