Middle School Teacher

Lynn is a strong believer in the use of new technologies to enhance project-based learning in the classroom.  She has been an active member of iEARN (International Education and Resource Network) and since 2000, has presented at many of IEARN's summer and virtual conferences.  Her students benefit greatly from her ability to take an iEARN project beyond its borders to fit FIDS's curriculum.  Lynn has planned a strong STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) emphasis for this year's international projects — The Water Habitat Project, Beauty of the Beasts, The Global Food Show and Tell, and Alternate Reality — which will link students and teachers around the world.

Lynn is a committed environmentalist and an experienced ESOL teacher.  In her free time, she loves to travel, enjoys reading, and swims for exercise.

Lynn earned a Bachelor's Degree from Central Michigan University and a Master's Degree in Education from Framingham State University.  Prior to joining the FIDS faculty, Lynn taught at Miami Country Day School and the Pan American School in Salvador, Brazil.
